Job Description

Strategic

Responsible for the formulation, adherence and tracking of Facility Engineering capital expenditure (CAPEX) within PP&FP sites.
Deliver the required availability of all infrastructures within operational budget.
Engage and work closely with other leaders in Operations and Supply Chain to ensure an integrated approach.
Drive a culture of innovation in the team which will lead to improvements in safety and system performance.

Technical

Responsible for all preventative and reactive maintenance for installed machines in the plants, ensuring maximum equipment availability.
Responsible for the overall building and facility maintenance (Reliability, Performance, Cost, etc.).
Drive and improve equipment and process standardization.
Provide feedback and condition analysis on equipment, performance and availability.
Manage day to day issues on equipment with the local Engineering teams, defining priorities with the Operations teams and working with the local teams to resolve issues promptly and with detailed root cause and remedy.
Effective in influencing, negotiating and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
Provide technical guidance to field personnel.
An ability to create clear, concise narratives with supporting financial justification for capital investment and then delivery of technical solutions.

Qualifications

Adequate experience (at least 3 years)
Technical degree
Fluent English
Leadeship skills
Excellent organisational and follow-up skills
Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
Is resilient, optimistic and open to change
Has an Adult:Adult, collaborative approach to others
A self-starter, motivated and able to positively motivate others
Focused and target driven with a positive, can-do attitude
